Lena boasts a variety of parks managed by the Lena Community Park District, offering something for everyone to enjoy the outdoors. Here’s a breakdown of the parks and their amenities:

Lions Park: The crown jewel of Lena’s park system, Lions Park is a large park with a variety of attractions:

Splash Land Pool: Cool off and have a blast during the summer months at the refreshing Splash Land Pool. (Perfect for families with young children!)

Miniature Golf Course: Putt your way to victory at the fun and challenging miniature golf course.

Dodds Park: Situated on Walnut Street, Dodds Park offers a more tranquil setting:

Polhill Park: Located near downtown Lena, Polhill Park provides a convenient green space.

Lake Le-Aqua-Na State Park

There are over 10 miles of multi-use trails for hiking, biking, or horseback riding.

The park has large tracts of wooded land with oak, hickory, walnut, and pine trees. There are also many wildflowers on display in the spring and early summer.

The park is a great place for fishing, with channel catfish, bluegill, redear sunfish, and largemouth bass being stocked in the lake.

There is a campground with 183 campsites, including some with electrical hookups. The campground also has showers, flush toilets, and a dump station. There are also equestrian campsites and trails available.

Overall, Lake Le-Aqua-Na State Park is a great place to relax and enjoy the outdoors. It’s perfect for a day trip or a weekend getaway.
